15 is a tender age to be filling your days and nights with recording, songwriting, performing, competing, and trips to Nashville, but that’s just what Kate Lee has experienced the last couple of years. |

Since her 2007 debut CD, “Are We There Yet? ” there have been bookings at distinguished Nashville clubs such as The Bluebird Café and The Commodore. Kate also competed at Nashville’s Grandmaster Fiddle Competition. As well as the State Level Colgate Country Showdown. Kate Lee and her band, No Strings Attached, have opened up for Rhonda Vincent, Jay Ungar and Lisa Moscatiello. Kate Lee was also asked to write & perform a song at the 2007 National Center for Missing & Exploited Children Annual Fundraiser. She was honored to be the 2007 guest Fiddle Instructor at the New York State Fiddlers’ Hall of Fame, marking herself as the youngest instructor in the history of the Hall of Fame. She has appeared for live interviews on WHAM Channel 13 Morning Show twice and numerous radio stations. Currently, her music is getting play time on New York State stations such as: WBEE, WUHF, WRUR and WCJW. And in Nebraska on station KUTT. Kate Lee was a member of the Hochstein Youth Orchestra in 2006, & now in 2007 is currently a violinist with the Rochester Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, as well as performing with her High School Orchestra and Select Choir. Kate Lee has received numerous academic awards, including the Publishing of “Are We There Yet? ” in a National competition. She holds a status of High Honors with Distinction.
